It can be seen that Training and Consulting and the latest fad, the Creative’s, design orientated MBA’s are redundant forces in the Lotus Economy. Just talk to those guys out there, they are struggling to find a foothold in a world which is switching from humans by numbers to humans by dreams initiatives. MBA design/innovation schools are doomed to failure unless they shift their philosophical premise from the machine organization to organizations that look more like Universities of old. You know the Greek concept, where learning itself is the premise for discovery. For heaven’s sake we have the political elites of France and the United Kingdom who are seeking to remove the study of history, the study of culture from the University curriculum. In our madness we have reduced Higher education to economics.
