It’s a small room equipped with a monitor and a gaming input device. The screen turns on, and the trainee sees himself in a plant. He is one of 5,000 employees who have to go through a similar training programme.

He can move about the plant by leaning on the input device or open doors with a button on top of the device. He looks around and everyone is doing their job. And everything is going well. Suddenly, an alarm bell sounds.

There is a loud explosion. People scream. Fire interacts with the environment in a realistic way as flames burst down the factory line. The trainee realizes that the people around represent other trainees who are logged onto the simulation across the world. It’s all so real. And he panics.
The game slows down and reminds him of the safety procedure. Using his headset, he takes leadership and communicates with other trainees.

The evacuation is a success. And everyone is safe.
